Topic : Seboomook
I heard that there will be a water release of 1500cfs on august 30 at Seboomook dam. Since I will be in the area, I would like to know how it is at that level. Is it ok for an open boat.

Topic : Seboomook
I saw a group of paddlers on the Seboomook on 8.17.08 from the PPCS. I was paddling OC-1 with a group of friends in duckies. I was wondering how often groups get together to paddle such rivers and if anyone had information on other rivers that are a nice class 3 thru summer. Do you have trips planned that anyone can join or do they need to be a member of PPCS? Any info would be great!

THANKS!

Topic : RIVER LEVELS WEEKEND OF AUG 9
Rapid and Dead River releases will not be as advertised this weekend. According to FPL Energy, Rapid River will be running in excess of 4000 cfs and the release from Flagstaff Lake into the Dead River will be 3000 cfs throughout the weekend, with additional 1000 or so coming in at Spencer Stream. For latest release information, call 1 800 557-FLOW (3569) any time.

Dead River level on Saturday should be at or near the advertised 2400 cfs despite the rain, according to operators of Long Falls Dam. PPCS is running a trip on Saturday. Meet at 9 AM in Webb's Campground. TC Kyle Duckworth 460-7576. Potluck Saturday evening.

Topic : Dead River Trips July 26-27?
The trip schedule shows nobody leading trips on the Dead July 26-27, or am I missing something?

Thinking about Canada Falls Sat and Dead 1800 this Sunday...
