Topic : Spring trips
Hello to my friends up north!

Looks like due to a lean economy I might find myself with a lot of free time in April and May. I'm looking to head to Maine for some Spring runs in May class 2-4 would be great with me. I'm an OC-1 paddler and I could paddle on the weekdays too if any of you have the time. Shoot me an email or give me a ring (I'm in the directory) if you think you are interested. I'll keep checking the board as I get closer and know dates for sure.

By the way, I'm selling my Taureau (never paddle it anymore) and I can deliver to ME. If interested check out the GEAR post for details. $50 discount to any PPCS member!

Hope to see you this spring!

Topic : Sheepscot, Sat 3/6
The Sheepscot is looking good! It's 1270 cfs Thursday afternoon, so it should be excellent for a paddle on Sat 3/6. Sunny. Mild. Good water level. Wow!

Skip Pendleton and I are meeting at the HeadTide dam takeout at 9:30 am. I'm bringing a lunch, because I'd like to run it twice. Let us know if you'd like to join us. Carolyn

Not enough room in this message format to post the entire trip details. If you have any interest in this trip send me an email and I'll send you the trip information and schedule. or call 207 712-0925. Sign-up deadline is: JUNE 1, 2010

PEI bike trip is from 8/27 thru 9/4.

If you are not a cyclist or just not interested in riding the Confederation Trail and just want to see PEI, I am looking for a few support personnel to help with moving vehicle(s) and equipment around. There will be plenty of time for you to explore the island while we are riding our bikes. Please contact me for more information on how you can see PEI and help us out at the same time.

Topic : ski Mt. Abram Sunday 2/7
Just a reminder: Downhill skiing on Superbowl Sunday at Mt. Abram. No crowds, no lift lines, because most folks are at home getting ready for The Game. But we have plenty of time to ski and get back before the kick off at 6:30. Bring your membership card for $39 rate. Give me a call or email to sign up and for carpooling plans at cwelch6789@gmail.com or 725-8178
